Legislation and other changes 21 November 2015
As usual in November, the government introduced a number of changes in immigration legislation. For a short summary of the most important changes see below:

- visitor visa changes - schedule 3 of https://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2015L01810/Download (the loophole for bridging visas has been closed) - maximum 12 months of stay in Australia for holders of one or more visitor visa, working holiday visa, work and holiday visa or bridging visa
- working holiday visa extensions - schedule 5 of https://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2015L01810/Download - specified work performed in order to gain a second WHV must be appropriately remunerated in accordance with relevant Australian legislation and awards (will commence on 1 December 2015)
- Immiaccount was upgraded and substantial changes in 457 application forms were made
