175/176/475 to Be Capped and Ceased
22.9.201522 September 2015: The majority of outstanding appliations for visa subclasses 175, 176 and 475 will be capped and ceased which means those application will be taken as to have never been made. These applications are offshore GSM visas lodged before 1 July 2012. More info here

MRT and RRT changes
17.6.201517 June 2015: From 1 July 2015, review application fees will increase to $1,673. In addition, MRT and RRT will become part of AAT. More info here
Migration Agents Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct for registered migration agents is set out in legislation to regulate the conduct of registered migration agents.
The Code of Conduct:
(a) protects clients of migration agents; and
(b) strengthens the integrity of the immigration advice industry and Australia’s immigration system.
Provision for a Code of Conduct for migration agents is set out in Section 314 of the Migration Act 1958.
